Visitors to Guilin have the option to either travel independently or arrange a Guilin Tour Package. There are a variety of different tours available and weve detailed the best Guilin Tour Package below (with some additional options too).
In regards to hotels, we can add details and options depending upon your preferences and budget.
This 4 Day Guilin Tour Package will commence with a pick-up from your Guilin City hotel at 9:00 am. Being a private tour, there is flexibility with start time with the possibility of starting the day earlier or later in the morning. When you complete the tour booking, please advise us of your preferred time to commence the private day tour and this can be accommodated.
Following pick-up from your Guilin Hotel, you’ll be transferred to the Longji Zhuang Ethnic Minority Village Carpark, which takes approximately 2.5 x hours. From the car-park, it takes approximately 20 minutes to walk to the Longji Zhuang Ethnic Minority Village along a paved road. Upon arriving, explore the Longji Zhuang Village before settling into a delicious lunch consisting of Bamboo Chicken, Vegetables and more!
In the early afternoon, walk to Ping’an Village (which takes between 40 – 60 x minutes) and enjoy the stunning views along the way. The Longji Rice Terraces hiking trails leads through the forest, bridges and throughout the terraces.
Visitors will have the option to explore Ping’an Village and the two different scenic viewpoints. Afterwards, return transfer to your hotel in Guilin to enjoy the evening at leisure.
Today, begin the tour by being transferred directly to the Reed Flute Cave, located on the outskirts of Guilin City. Upon arriving at the cave, your tour guide will escort you to a special entrance on the second floor and privately guide you through the cave, away from the big tour groups. The Reed Flute Cave features some spectacular limestone cave scenery and most visitors take approximately 1 x hour within the cave.
Thereafter, depart Reed Flute Cave and travel approximately 20 minutes to Guilin’s famous landmark – Elephant Trunk Hill. Located in the center of the Li River, this world-famous scenic attraction resembles an Elephant drinking water from the Li River.
Afterwards, travel to a nearby famous local restaurant to eat Guilin’s most famous cuisine – Guilin Rice Noodles. No trip to Guilin is complete without tasting this delicious local specialty! In the early afternoon, you’ll be transferred to Yao Mountain where you will board a chairlift from the base of the mountain to the peak. Visitors have the option to take a toboggan from the midpoint to the base of Yao Mountain.
In the evening, enjoy the scenery of the Four Lakes in central Guilin City on-board the Four Lakes Night Cruise. During the cruise, you’ll see the famous Sun and Moon Pagodas, nightline of Guilin City, Cormorant Fisherman and more! At the conclusion of the Four Lakes Night Cruise, return transfer to your hotel in Guilin to enjoy the evening at leisure and conclude the tour
In the morning, meet your private tour guide and experienced driver at your Guilin Hotel Lobby to commence the day’s activities. The first attraction to visit is Xianggong Hill – a spectacular viewpoint offering bird’s eye views overlooking the Li River and surrounding Karst Mountains. It takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes to walk from the base of Xianggong Hill to the upper viewpoint but visitors are rewarded with fantastic scenery!
Thereafter, explore the Yulong Valley Exclusive Scenic Area either via a walking tour or cycling (additional charge for bicycle rental). The Yulong Valley offers different views with smaller karst hills and rural scenery as far as the eye can see.
Following lunch (not included), transfer to Xingping and see the famous 20 CNY note scenery. You’ll also board a motorized raft to enjoy a Private Li River Motorized Raft Cruise (only available for persons over 120 cms tall and under 65 years of age) and enjoy the views from the Li River.
In the afternoon, return to West Street for dinner (not included) and in the evening watch the Impression 3rd Sister Liu Show (VIP B1 Seating). At the conclusion of the Impression Show, return transfer to your Yangshuo Hotel where you will stay overnight.
Today, you’ll meet your tour guide and driver at your Yangshuo Hotel Lobby to begin the day’s activities. From Yangshuo, transfer to Huangyao Ancient Town which is located in Hezhou. For reference, it takes approximately 1.5 x hours. At Huangyao Ancient Town, visitors will marvel at the incredible old town, cobblestone streets and traditional buildings. This is one of Southern China’s most famous old towns and definitely worth a morning to explore.
After visiting Huangyao, you’ll be transferred back to Yangshuo to enjoy the Yulong River. Visitors will board bamboo rafts that are slowly pushed downstream along the picturesque Yulong River, which is surrounded by rural countryside, smaller karst mountains and everything Southern China is famous for!
In the late afternoon, transfer to Cuiping Hill, where you will hike up to the mountain peak to enjoy the famous Yangshuo sunset before being transferred back to your Yangshuo or Guilin Hotel to conclude the tour.
