For visitors looking to travel from Guilin to Yangshuo by bus, there are multiple departures daily – usually between 8:00 am – 10:00 pm. During the daytime, they often depart every 20 x minutes from Guilin Bus Station and make the 1 hour & 15 minute journey down to Yangshuo. Taking a Guilin to Yangshuo Bus is the quickest and most cost-effective option for traveling to Yangshuo (but also means missing out on the Li River Cruise!).
Pricing is 20 CNY per ticket but can vary depending upon bus type and bus departure station.
Guilin to Yangshuo – Li River Cruise
The Guilin to Yangshuo River Cruise is a famous cruise operating along the Li River between the scenic city of Guilin and the town of Yangshuo.
The Guilin to Yangshuo Boat Cruise departs from Guilin Pier in the morning and arrives into Yangshuo Pier approximately 4 x hours later. There is also a Yangshuo to Guilin Boat departing from Yangshuo to Guilin which departs at approximately midday and travels upstream.
Guilin to Yangshuo – High Speed Train
The High Speed Train operates between Guilin North/Guilin West Railway Stations and Yangshuo Railway Station. Please note, Yangshuo Railway Station is located near the riverside town of Xingping which is approximately 45 x minutes away from Yangshuo Town.
