The cruise will take you to appreciate the views along the main four lakes in Guilin City – Rong Lake, Shan Lake, Gui Lake and Mulong Lake. The Gui Lake is the former city moat. Several types of trees witness the lake for tens of years. Rong and Shan Lakes are the former south moat of the city. Since the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1944), the two lakes have been the popular tourist spots. The Sun & Moon Pagodas and their reflections in the Shan Lake also are the highlights.
As the longest white marble bridge in Guangxi, Beidou Bridge lies over the Rong Lake. Lize Bridge, and the glass bridge in the light present their charm to the passengers. During the cruise, passengers will also enjoy the live classic Chinese music and dancing show. In addition, cormorant fishing demonstration is usually available on the Gui Lake.
The Guilin Four Lakes Night Cruise lasts for around 60 minutes. The departure wharf is Sun & Moon Bay wharf which is within 5 minutes walk from the gate of Guilin Lijiang Waterfall Hotel.
Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Night Cruise offers the views by the four city lakes and along the Li River and Peach Blossom River. In addition to the spots mentioned above, passengers will also admire the panoramic views of the Elephant Trunk Hill. The cruise will take passengers from Elephant Trunk Hill to the Liberation Bridge along the Li River. The night views along the section are breathtaking. Xiaoyao Tower in the light shows its beauty as well.
The Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Night Cruise lasts for 80 – 90 minutes. It has two routes. One is from Fisherman Wharf to Wenchang Bridge Wharf and the other one is from Wenchang Bridge Wharf to Fisherman Wharf. The opening time is from 18:00 to 23:00 between April and October and from 19:00 to 21:30 between November and March. The cruise runs between every 10 minutes and 30 minutes.
